Tuition fees

For the first two years of study the tuition fees due at University College London are currently around £23,300 per academic year. Please find further information for tuition fees after the Brexit here.

Information from University College London on student finance can be found here.

The University of Cologne does not charge tuition fees. In the third and fourth year of the course, only the semester fee is due (approx. 250 € per semester).

Scholarships

Persons applying via Cologne have the possibility to receive a DAAD scholarship which is granted during the study period in London to compensate for the higher cost of living in London. BAföG (Federal Academic Assistance Act) and other scholarships obtained through other sources will be credited towards the DAAD scholarships.

BAföG

Those students who receive benefits according to BAföG must assume that payments will be stopped after completion of the course of study, as the BAfög- Amt (BAfög Office) then considers the training to be completed. If you would like to continue studying law after this, you would therefore have to look for another source of financing. You can find information on scholarships here.
